Greetings, Blogosphere!

Hello and welcome to my blog.  There's not much to look at for now, and honestly I don't have any set plans for what it will look like in the future.  Most popular blogs have a distinct purpose.  There are blogs on politics, religion, fashion, social activism, cooking, video games, music, movies, and a million other things.  This blog is meant to be none of those things (or perhaps all of them).  What I really envision is that I put down what's been on my mind lately.  That could be talking about things I'm learning.  It could be about a book that I'm reading.  It could be updates on the smoked jerk pork butt I've got smoking outside right now.  The point is that I intend to write whatever the heck I want.  If you came here expecting a collection of consistent, well-written content with nice pictures and great insights, you should probably go visit my wife's blog at alysiaave.blogspot.com.  If you want to get a brief peek into what's going on in my mind, stay and take a look around.
